HONORARY PRESIDENTS

Elizabeth Ducottet • CEO of Thuasne

She is the Chairman and CEO of Thuasne, a family-owned company founded in 1847, which she has led since 1991. She joined the company in 1980, initially serving as an executive assistant and later as sales director. Under her leadership, Thuasne has become a global player in the medical device industry, with a presence in 110 countries, 2,400 employees, 16 manufacturing sites, and revenue of 281 million euros in 2023, 50% of which came from international markets.

A psychologist by training, with degrees in linguistics, speech-language pathology, and management (CPA – HEC Paris), she serves on numerous economic and scientific bodies (Bank of France, Universcience, Fabrique de l’Industrie, R3ilab, Tech & Fab for Good, etc.).

She is a Commander of the National Order of the Legion of Honor (October 24, 2017), an honor bestowed by the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron.

Olivier Schiller • Chairman of the Board, Septodont

Olivier Schiller is the chairman and CEO of Septodont, an international family-owned mid-sized company founded in 1932. He is the second generation to lead the Group.

Septodont generates revenue of more than 500 million euros, a significant portion of which comes from international markets, and employs approximately 2,400 employees. As the global leader in dental anesthetics, the Group offers a wide range of solutions for dentistry, including anesthesia, endodontics, and restorative dentistry.

With a presence in more than 150 countries, Septodont operates several production facilities in Europe, North America, India, and Brazil. Mr. Schiller also holds several positions in economic representation: advisor to the Bank of France, ambassador for Team France Export, board member of the France-Israel Chamber of Commerce, and former ambassador for medium-sized companies to the French government.

Virginie Calmels • Founding President of Futurae & President of CroissancePlus

As the head of Futurae, a rapidly growing group dedicated to education and training, Virginie Calmels guides the organization’s efforts with an ambitious vision: to develop the talent of tomorrow and support the professional development of the workforce. Futurae brings together several innovative entities in higher education and vocational training, with a strong presence in the Île-de-France region.

As the founder of CV Éducation, she has built her career at major companies such as Canal+ and Endemol, which she led first in France and then internationally. She has served on the board of directors of Iliad (Free) since 2009 and has chaired the boards of Euro Disney and OuiCare. Active in public life, she served as deputy mayor of Bordeaux, vice president of Bordeaux Métropole, and regional councilor for Nouvelle-Aquitaine (2014–2020). Currently also president of CroissancePlus, she advocates for a business environment that is more favorable to companies.

Frédéric Coirier • Président de Poujoulat & Co- President of METI

Frédéric Coirier joined the Poujoulat Group in 1999. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2002, then Chairman in 2006. The Poujoulat Group is a major player in the energy transition. It is the European leader in chimney flue systems and the French leader in biofuels (logs, pellets, fire starters). With a presence in 30 countries, the Poujoulat Group generates €350 million in revenue and employs 1,800 people.

Committed to the development of France’s industrial sector, Frédéric Coirier is Co-President of the Movement of Mid-Sized Enterprises (METI), founded by Yvon Gattaz. For more than 15 years, he has been actively working to promote and advocate for French mid-sized enterprises, which are the true pillars of “Made in France” and drivers of sustainable job creation. In addition, he serves as Vice President of the Renewable Energy Union (SER), thereby reaffirming his commitment to the energy transition and sustainable development.
